BeneTalk is a cutting-edge mobile app and dashboard designed to work alongside speech therapists, enabling individuals who stutter and their families to minimise the negative impact that stuttering has on their lives.

Role Overview

We are currently expanding our team and are seeking a talented Communications/Copywriter. In this role, you will work closely with speech therapists, and our product and design teams, focusing on translating complex speech therapy topics into engaging, clear, and concise copy to enhance both our app's user experience and our brand's overall communication strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage, collaborate and strategise with UX designers, product managers, and subject matter experts in speech therapy content that resonates with our audience.
• Write compelling and concise copy for app interfaces, web pages, newsletters, press releases, and other marketing collateral.
• Translate complex or lengthy material into simplified, digestible content.
• Establish and maintain the brand's tone of voice.
• Edit and proofread materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in user research and content strategy planning.

Candidate Requirements

• Native in English
• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum 2 years of experience in communications, copywriting, or content strategy
• Portfolio showcasing strong writing samples in various formats (UX writing, marketing copy, etc.)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for helping people find joy in speaking and improving lives
